Customer Service Representative (m/f)

Introduction

Customer care agents are the backbone of a company. They maintain healthy customer relations and help solve problems. Friendly, outgoing and personable, customer care agents are the most valuable part of any team. This job is usually 30 to 40 hours per week, with available working times being Monday through Friday, generally between 8am and 7pm. French, German, Italian, and Spanish native speakers are in especially high demand for customer care jobs in Berlin.

Typical roles

  • contacting customers via telephone and email
  • adapting offers/services to the individual needs of customers
  • documenting contact with customers
  • answering customers’ questions and solving their problems
  • liaising with other departments, especially the sales team

What characterises the ideal candidate?

  • friendly, out-going personality
  • very good communication skills (both in speaking & writing)
  • excellent language skills in your native tongue, as well as a good enough level of German or English to communicate with co-workers
  • high level of service-orientation
  • mindful of the needs of the company or client
  • able to keep calm and stay patient in stressful situations
  • responsible and self-motivated
